Birthday in Lockdown by Justine S
This week, we had a birthday in the house - Nick turned the ripe
old age of 53 (he won't mind me sharing this!).
So, due to the fact we couldn't go out to celebrate, we turned our
dining room into a restaurant, with everyone playing a part: chef, waitress,
manager and customer!
A three course meal was prepared, menus were designed and the
table was set - restaurant style. Most impressive was the birthday cake made by
my eldest daughter. It was seriously delicious and definitely restaurant
standard!
We are all having to adapt how we celebrate birthdays but, I have
to say, we thoroughly enjoyed this one! (Although, it was noted that the
customer did not leave a tip!)
