My garden

 Here are a few pictures of my garden that I want to share with you.  I wish we didn’t have to cover the fish pond, but we have a heron that lives locally with an enormous appetite for fish so we have no choice but to cover the pond.

Before we built the Pergola over the pond and covered it, the Heron ate about 40% of the fish that we had in the pond.  Since then we have not introduced any extra fish, but stocks are now either equal to what they were before or may even be higher.

This is the side wall of next door’s extension, so we thought we would make it a feature wall.  Plus it has resulted in a really nice decking area which is a sun trap as our garden is south facing.
