VE Day Celebrations by Kate M

My Dad found this picture of his VE Day party which he sent to us; he can’t actually find himself or his mum in the picture but he remembers them being there and roughly where he sat! He was 6!

On Friday we had our own VE Day celebration, my daughters and their friend next door made scones and decorations and we had a (socially distanced) cream tea for the neighbours in our street – it was lovely!
