VE Day chez Randall

VE Day in my house was quite an impromptu event. I woke up on Saturday feeling a bit down and fed up by the current situation. I watched a bit of VE day footage of the rubble and devastation caused by a bomb for a lady not unlike me and was truly humbled. All of a sudden staying home in a safe house on a sunny day didn’t seem such a hardship. 

Inspired by this I set to work on a celebratory old fashioned tea and raised a glass to all those that made this possible. Spirits restored I’m sure I was a little easier to live with.
