Paul's Garden - by Paul C

Gardeners everywhere, apparently, trim box hedges on Derby Day,  the first Saturday of June.  So that is what I do, too.  It’s a little back breaking but so neat once all done.

This bit of the garden is all mine and it stays resolutely green with no flowers allowed.  The grasses on the right (stipa gigantea) add some softness as a counter balance.

If I could topiarise my whole life, I think I would!

    'Topiarise my life' - said like a true Renaissance polymath!

    Personally (and this may just be be) I particularly like the geometric curve of the path too
